SPANISH FOR TEENAGERS IN MULTILINGUAL ENVIRONMENTS

SPANISH FOR TEENS: AN ENGAGING, EXPLORATORY, AND PERSONALIZED LEARNING APPROACH

Designed for young learners of Spanish as a foreign language. We combine effective language acquisition strategies with dynamic, student-centered activities.

Meaningful and lasting learning

We focus on comprehension, oral and written expression, vocabulary, and grammar through playful, visual, and narrative-based activities, always adapted to each student’s interests.

Flexible and engaging methodology

We use Spanish textbooks for teenagers, but every activity is adapted to make it accessible, clear, and enjoyable.

Online 55-minute sessions

We make learning Spanish active, motivating, and fun. Each class strengthens independence, focus, and the skills students need to get the most out of their learning.

Vehicular language

We work with a vehicular language (a common language shared by student and teacher: Spanish, English, or French) to ensure understanding, foster interaction, develop critical thinking, and encourage the active use of Spanish.

Age flexibility

In some cases, children aged 10 or 11 may also join, with 45-minute lessons, provided they share a language with the teacher and complete a trial lesson first.

Terms and Conditions | Online Spanish Classes for Teenagers

Target audience

Classes are aimed at boys and girls aged 12 and up. Younger students are not accepted unless

a vehicular language is shared between teacher and student.

Vehicular language and methodology

Classes follow a communicative, dynamic, and structured approach, adapted to the cognitive and linguistic needs of young learners.

For effective learning, it is essential that student and teacher share a vehicular language

(a common language that allows instructions and explanations when necessary). If this requirement is not met, classes cannot be offered.

Materials and resources

The teacher may use textbooks, visual materials, songs, stories, and other resources designed for teaching Spanish to children and teenagers. Activities are always adapted to the student’s interests and pace. Families receive information about the teaching approach and, if desired, suggestions to support learning at home.

IB classes

For students enrolled in the PYP or MYP, classes combine the development of communicative competence in Spanish as a foreign language (ELE) with academic support aligned

with the school curriculum. Planning is consistent with the IB Learner Profile and its pedagogical approaches.

Class duration

Standard sessions last 55 minutes.

In specific cases, 45-minute sessions may be offered for children aged 10 and 11 or for particular needs (with fees adjusted proportionally). Classes run for 45 minutes in total: 40 minutes of live teaching, and 5 minutes that I invest in updating your individual learning record and designing the following session.

Payments and cancellations

  • Payments are made in advance.

  • Classes can be purchased individually or in packages of 5, 10, or 20 sessions.

  • Cancellations must be notified at least 24 hours in advance; otherwise, the lesson will be considered completed.

  • In cases of illness or force majeure, rescheduling may be considered.

  • Invoices are issued upon request.

Data protection and platform use

  • Classes are conducted via secure video conferencing platforms (such as Teams or Google Meet).

  • Sessions are not recorded without the explicit consent of parents or guardians.

  • Students’ personal data is used exclusively for pedagogical and administrative purposes related to the classes.

Communication with families

Clear and open communication is maintained with parents or guardians to provide updates

on student progress. Suggestions and questions are always welcome as part of a collaborative process. However, the teacher retains responsibility for pedagogical planning and class structure, considering family feedback without compromising learning objectives.

Thank you for choosing our Spanish classes. We know how important it is for your children to learn a new language in an environment where they feel heard, motivated,

and supported. Each class is carefully designed around their interests, pace, and individual needs.

We love being part of their language-learning journey, helping them develop curiosity, independence, and confidence every step of the way.
